Reduce Black Heads, but how?

Hello all you gorgeous ladies. So how is the week coming up for you? I know you all must be dreading for the weekend to come, right. So am I. My today’s blog will be about blackheads and tips to reduce them. Black heads are one of the most annoying skin problems, which most of us face. They are just so Ewww!!! Blackheads result due to accumulation of sebum and dirt in the open pores of the skin. They are first stage of acne, which means if you leave blackheads unnoticed then they can lead to acne. Well that is the fact.
Hence it is very important to not only reduce black heads but also prevent them from coming.

Here are some tips to reduce black heads.

  • Cleansing:

Oily to combination skinned people are more prone to blackheads more as compared to dry skinned people. Hence you must follow the sole funds of keeping your skin clean and oil free. But this doesn’t mean you will wash your face all the day. You skin must deep cleansed at the minimum of 3 times in a week using an antibacterial or a mild cleanser. Antibacterial face wash destroys bacteria dwelling in your skin pores.

However, remember that moderation is the key. Excess of cleansing can drive out the essential oils from your skin making it more prone to black heads. Do not wash your face more than 2-3 times in a day.
  • Exfoliation:

Exfoliate your skin regularly. Exfoliation gets rid of dead skins clogging the skin pores thereby preventing formation of blackheads. Also this procedure prevents sebum build up. Hence make it thumb rule to scrub your face at least three to four times every week.
  • Remove your makeup:

If you are addicted to use makeup on daily basis then make it a point to remove it before hitting the bed. Sleeping with makeup doesn’t give breathing space for your skin thus resulting in the formation of blackheads.
  • Taking steam:

Taking steam once in a week helps your skin pores to open up, thus cleaning the debris and bacteria accumulated in them. However, people with acne prone skin must skip this process.  You can take steam once in 2 weeks and make sure you are not bothering any pimples formed in your skin.
  • Drink lots of water:

Your skin needs to be hydrated to look healthy so it is necessary to drink lots of water. Water flushes out the toxins in your body thereby giving you glowing and clean skin. I make it a point to drink 1 ltr of luke warm water in the morning. This has indeed helped my skin a lot. It not only keeps you skin healthy but also keeps its supple, which means less stretch mark problems. :D

Besides these tricks ensure you are following the Cleansing-Toning-Moisturising routine on regular basis. This will bring notable improvements in your skin texture. Also drink a lot of water and also hydrate your skin regularly.
